Winter Solstice is over and we are turning to lighter days here in Norway.
These was taken on a trip a couple of weeks back, the sun was low in the sky and the colors was great
Some sunday pictures: we headed up to a lake not far from Oslo (40 minutes metro/bus, then 1 hour on a track through the forest). The winter has set in (although late this year) and we waded through snow and ice to get up there, the fog was really thick at times but it made for a really good atmosphere once we got up to the lake.
We try to brew fresh coffee on our trips, snow and fog shouldn’t be a hinder!
The fog created this spectacular light
Snow closeup, should have brought with me the macro lens to get this out better
A small trout stream where I bring my #1 rod during summer to get a quick fishing trip done after work
For me fishing is a lot about the fishing, but it is also about the nature:
The nature is what I really live for, fishing is great if it is only for the fish, but when you can stand in a river and have a night with the sky on fire like this then you know what I’m talking about.
If you have a night like this: leave the rod at the riverbank and look up: you might catch trout every time you go out, but you won’t experience a night like this often!
