Monster Caddis on tube
Body: Hareline Premium Deer Hair
Hackle: Whiting Bronze Brown
Whiskers: Hares Mask whiskers
Massive big dryfly on tube! Didn’t get the body perfect, but I need a better scissor to do my trimming. This is going to be a fun fly to test this autumn when the trout is hungry and feeding on mice, and if I get a chance to throw this in a salmon river I’ll definitely test it out.

Red Spider
Hook: TMC 100BL #12
Thread: UNI 8/0 Red
Body: UNI Floss Red
Thorax: Peacock
Wing: Guinea Fowl
Spider flies is on of those patterns that I haven’t fished much with, but that I believe will work very well for my trout streams when summer comes, so while snow is pouring down (again…) I tie up some variations of this
Picture: Swans
When I’m out fishing I always bring my camera: you never know what you will see. These pictures is from a trip in the Oslo fjord in November, the family of swans was coming slowly next to land and I stopped fishing for 15 minutes while they were paddling past and just sat down to enjoy the view.
Remember to stop up and enjoy the view if you are out fishing and take in sights like this
Black Ghost Marabou color variations
Hook: Allen S401 #6
Thread: UNI 6/0 Black
Tail: Marabou in different color variations
Body: Black Floss, UNI-Mylar #10
Wing: White Marabou
Throat: Marabou in different color variations
I follow streamers365.com on planet.dryfly.me, and the other day a list of black ghost marabou in different color variations came up, so: I had to tie up some variations on this one to see how it is put together. The marabou should give a lot of movement in the water and the silver ribbed body can’t go wrong. Looking forward to test this in a river across a pool late at night.
Yellow variant:
All together on some cork I have practiced gluing together for my rod project
